The main design concept of this noodle restaurant is a “buffet style noodle restaurant with a casual atmosphere easily approachable by women”. In general, women do not like buffet style noodle restaurants in Japan.
With the concept of “a dining area with the flexibility of a plaza” we designed a space with seamless walls, ceiling, counters, and tables. Within this environment, women can freely choose their eating places, as if seating around a flower bed in a park. We expect to provide for a variety of eating scenarios for women with these flexible options.
