We won an international urban design competition by VANKE Company held in 2005. The site was in a north district of Pudong Airport of Shanghai city, China. We dealt with a Master Plan, a Design Guideline for each building type and a house design. In order to design a liveable environment for 270 houses in diverse forms, we tried to focus on the following concepts:

1. Natural environment to spend relaxing pastimes,

2. Safe town which can enhance better sense of community,

3. Diversity and integration in townscape and house design.

After the construction, a versatile neighborhood was newly born just as we intended.
